Detailed project and works manager
COMPLETED
The Chamber of the Notaries is a room placed in an excellent position: it is in the ground floor on Via dei Mercanti, in the Milan town center, 200m far from the Cathedral. Even thought the interior is a small surface of 40m2 with an high ceiling (almost 4m) and without any functional devices for prepare any expositions. Even thought the rules forbade to touch the the internal walls also if they aren’t nor clean. From the other side, the CESVI, the NGO that organized the exposition, wanted a low cost fitting for introducing the Limpopo Park like a tale with words and photos.
The target was creating a space in the space that could make the visitors concentrate on the exhibition with an ethic fitting that could be used again for other similar events.
The proposed solution is creating an inner room inside the room with 11 rough steel panels that were folded and united with each other. The texture of that material reminds to force of the african land and its dark tonality exalts the photos of Andrea Frazzetta that are the main character of this space.
